“Affordable Housing that Pays for Itself.”
– Resolving housing and homeless affordability –
The facts are that Toronto has over 121,700 people on the Toronto Community Housing Corp. (TCHC) affordable housing waiting list and another 12,340 homeless, with 43,000 units housing 89,000 people. The TCHC has 2100 buildings, with 58,860 units needing repair and numerous units over 50 years, with some buildings being closed due to health hazards and safety.
How can housing pay for itself? It requires a three-branch approach.
Branch One –
AsSniedzins’ my number one act would have been to reach out to over one hundred Toronto not-for-profit (NFP) or non-government organization (NGO) agencies on affordable housing, homelessness, health care, food banks, training that had a vested mission to eradicate the problems in their mandated areas for a meeting to outline my solutions. The goal is for each agency to shed its individual stance and become a Co-Op Coalition of NFP Members to build a strong advocacy voice for Toronto’s needs.
Furthermore, I received numerous questionnaires from these NFP/NGOs asking my position on these various topics and solutions.
Branch Two: – Collaborative Private Business Group Sector Involvement
In the private sector, the Senator Modular Homes Membership Coalition of companies in the housing, construction, building materials, manufacturers, hydroponics, geothermal heat pumps, solar, hydro spinners, farming, architects, engineers, and wealth management has agreed to work with the NFP Co-Op Coalition to eliminate the housing, shortfall by 2030.
Branch Three: – Government and Financial Support
The CO-OP COALITION of Affordable Housing, Health Care, Food Banks and Neighbourhood Not-for-profit organizations will work with the SENATOR MODULAR HOMES COALITION of private companies Rent to own a 420 SF one-bedroom, land-leased backyard house for affordability.
- Rent to own an 800 SF two or three-bedroom house that is land leased for affordability.
- All new Co-op houses will have an AI Hydroponic system for sustainable monthly organic food.
- All new Co-up houses will have heat pumps, power walls, and solar to reduce greenhouse gas and energy costs by up to 70%
- Erwin will build 21,600 new homes annually and grow to 43,200 affordable homes in Toronto with innovation – Co-Op robotic MEGA factories building modular prefab units and establishing an Express Building Permit Zoning department that works.
- To take the affordable housing pressure off Toronto to create smarter SATELLITE net-zero self-sustaining hydroponic community villages from 3000 to 5000 habitats outside of Toronto for affordability serviced by Tesla autonomous GO shuttle buses and shared robocars.
- Incentivized 173,000 affordable rental living spaces with Express building permit support for backyard garden suites.
How can housing pay for itself?
The coalition’s annual membership and quarterly dividends are used to pay off the government-backed bond and NFP loan against the individual’s house. The $2.7 billion Affordable Sustainable Net Zero Hydroponic Housing 15-Year Bond will be advanced to the Not-for-profit organizations that automatically place orders for affordable houses. The Bond funds can only be used to place orders in the mega factory. Please reach out to esniedzins@gmail.com to learn more.
